Lighthouses of Canada Wall
Calendar: These beacons stand proudly along the Canadian coast and are
repositories of maritime history and tradition. The first Canadian
lighthouse, or rather the first to be built on what is today Canadian
territory, was erected by the French on Cape Breton Island in 1734, only to
be destroyed by the British several decades later. This wall calendar is
devoted exclusively to the magnificent lighthouses of Canada. English/French
bilingual. |

Atlantic Coast Lighthouses
Wall Calendar: Atlantic Coast lighthouses are a wonderful depository of
the very rich maritime history of the United States. This Atlantic Coast
Lighthouses calendar celebrates some of the shining sentinels that have kept
a dutiful watch on these busy shores for so many years. |

Gulf Coast Lighthouses Wall
Calendar: The southeastern region of the United States depends on the
Gulf of Mexico for maritime trade and travel. Lighthouses in this region
must withstand turbulent weather like hurricanes and storm surges that are
common to states such as Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. This
wall calendar surveys lighthouses from around the often weather-turbulent
Gulf Coast region. |
